When working with the SMART Forwarding service, one of the obligatory condition for replenishing the personal balance of the User is the use of the PayPal address which completely coincides with the login with which authorization in the system is performed.
What if the e-mail PayPal and the login for SMART Connect are different?
Option 1: Add an alternate e-mail address to the PayPal profile
Option 2: Change the e-mail address of SMART Connect to the e-mail address that is used in PayPal
Solution for Option 1
In this case, in the PayPal profile, you need to add an alternative e-mail address that is identical to the e-mail login in SMART Connect, and when replenishing your personal balance, use the correct e-mail address.
Instructions for adding an alternative e-mail address to the PayPal profile:
Step 1: Go to https://www.paypal.com
Step 2: Use the current data, login and password for authorization on the site
Step 3: After successful authorization, go to the "Settings" (icon in the form of a gear) at https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/settings
Step 4: In the section "Account", find the subsection "E-mail addresses" and click "Add new e-mail address" (icon in the form of a + sign)
Step 5: Enter an alternative e-mail address, which completely coincides with the e-mail address-login in the SMART Connect system
Step 6: Confirm the alternate address. PayPal requires confirmation of an alternate address by sending an email with a code (link) for activation.
Solution for Option 2
In this case, you need to change the current e-mail address in the SMART Connect profile to the e-mail address that is used for the PayPal system.
